Hello. My name is Melissa Schepp and I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have over a decade of experience working as a nurse in public health, public schools, and outpatient mental health. After seeing a large need for mental health providers, I decided to obtain Nurse Practitioners masters degree in Psychiatric Mental Health. I have been working as a PMHNP for 2.5 years, working with clients/patients from age 8 to 98. I treat all types of mental health disorders with medication management and provide supportive therapy.
My husband and I have a large blended family of my three children and his three children. Our kids are mostly grown and flown with them scattered throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wyoming. We love to spend time with our children and our families at the lake with low evening boat rides and campfires being the highlights. We are also avid dog lovers and we have 3. My littlest and bossiest is Cylus, a 8 year old Yorkie-poo. Next we have our 5 year old Golden Retriever, Chance. And the baby of the bunch is a 2 year old Golden Retriever named Chevy. We also have a 15 year old elderly orange tabby cat, Gibby. Our pets provide us undeniable love, patience, and companionship.
I look forward to assisting you on your journey towards achieving your fullest potential, and supporting you with personal grow, and empowering you to reach your goals.

Life is hard. There are days and moments when we all could use someone to sojourn alongside us through the mountains and valleys that come our way. Someone to remind us that we are not alone, we are in this together and together we can make progress. Progress towards the greater good, progress towards your individual goals, progress in your own health and well-being. I believe that you can gain power over the valleys and develop handles to help you find purpose, hope, and healing. It is my privilege and passion to walk beside you and I find great hope and joy in your personal success! Let’s make it happen.
My training is in medication management alongside therapy as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have walked alongside people through the dying process, depression, anxiety, marital discord etc. I have worked in marriage counseling, as a pastor, as a Christian military chaplain and with people/families of all ages and demographics.
Imagine if you really could take hold of your life. You could discover a path towards confidence, healing, and a deeper sense of well-being. In developing a comprehensive plan working with therapy and if necessary medication that would allow you to experience a much better life; a life that you felt was worth living.
